Rescriptum

Everything you need to know about using and extending Rescriptum.

What is Rescriptum?

Rescriptum is an AI-native integrated development environment built from the ground up in Rust. Unlike traditional IDEs with AI features bolted on, Rescriptum was designed as an intelligent system — where agents, models, memory, and tools work together as a coherent whole.

The IDE features a full code editor, interactive terminal, multi-model orchestration via OpenRouter, a persistent codebase intelligence system, a marketplace for community skills and MCP servers, and long-horizon agentic workflows that can plan, execute, test, and iterate across your entire project.

Rescriptum ships as a lightweight native binary on Windows (macOS and Linux coming soon) — no Electron, no web wrappers, just fast native performance powered by Tauri and Rust.
