Installation

Download and run Rescriptum on Windows x64.

Rescriptum ships as a fast, lightweight native desktop application for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (x64). Choose between the standard User Setup installer or the zero-installation Portable archive.

System Requirements

  • **Operating System**: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • **Architecture**: x86_64
  • **Memory**: 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • **Prerequisites**: Standard Windows 10/11 environment

Visit the Download page to download rescriptum-setup.exe or the portable .zip archive.

First Launch

Run rescriptum-setup.exe (or rescriptum.exe from the portable archive) to launch the IDE. On first launch, open Settings (Ctrl+,) to enter your OpenRouter API key.
