Configuration

Rescriptum stores configuration in your system's standard config directory. Most settings can be managed through the Settings panel in the dashboard.

API key

Your OpenRouter API key is stored securely in the local config file. You can update it anytime through Settings → API Key in the IDE or dashboard.

Daily budget

Set token and dollar limits to control daily spend. The IDE will warn you at 90% usage and soft-block at 100%. Default limits are 50M tokens / $50 per day.

Model preferences

Your selected model persists across sessions per project. You can also configure auto-routing preferences to let the system pick the optimal model for each task.
